I found this great Linux HOWTO podcast from Chess Griffin called Linux Reality (http://www.linuxreality.com/). Although Chess no longer creates new episodes, he is a great teacher and his material was invaluable to me. Perhaps we can use some of his episode content as teaching ideas for the next meeting.

Thoughts?

Second meeting, period, for me :)

I missed last month (Not much I can do about a job that gets in the way),
but I have the day off this month. Glee.

Anyway, a while back (7/27-7/28 or so it looks like) there was a thread on
the mailing list about starting a Linux beginner's class. I'd like to start
the ball rolling on that (I'm glad to volunteer as a teacher).

How many people might be interested in taking such a class or volunteering?
Ideas?

I don't know how well it would fit into meetings, but that seems like an
appropriate time for such a class to take place (10-15 minute class, some
topic each meeting? Just a thought...).
