The trick is to get your wife not to want to celebrate Valentines day.<br>
It works out great and it's a lot cheaper than paying for flowers<br>
and/or eating out the day of.<br>

Here are a few ideas that might be helpful:<br>
<br>
-We shouldn't be forced to be romantic<br>
-The original holiday has nothing to do with the commercialized<br>
secular version celebrated today<br>
-We're not Catholic (no offense if you are of course!)<br>
-We can celebrate it a week earlier and for multiple days, to show<br>
that we care for each other more than a "compulsorily" holiday<br>
